Julianne Karr
I am completing a Bachelor of the Arts at William Paterson University of New Jersey with a concentration in music and art. I have fallen in love with photography.
I come from a creative background. My mother is a freelance painter while my father is an art collector. I have been surrounded by the visual arts since my early childhood and have a strong fascination with artistic endeavors, be it art or music. I live in a house full of paintings, with their comings and goings of being bought and sold; they are visitors to my home. The ones that stay on our walls the longest have had a special influence on the way I look at things. Photography is how I get a better look at things that fascinate me, or advocate the things that I love. I am drawn to animals, old cars, and landscapes. There is also a place in my heart for the performing arts, and am often found covering events, concerts, or working personally with artists.
